For the first time in Monaco, International Women’s Sports Day was celebrated with a special Motorsport Edition at the Prince’s Car Collection on Friday, January 24.
This not-for-profit conference aimed to inspire female students in Monaco by showcasing the achievements of women in motorsport. Through real-life success stories, it demonstrated that with determination, skill, and resilience, gender is no barrier to excelling in the industry.
World Rally Vice-Champion Michèle Mouton was the guest of honor at the event.
Following the student conference, a cocktail reception with HSH Prince Albert marked the official release of 100 Years of Women: Motorsport & Monaco, authored by Nancy Heslin and Lacey Da Costa.
This beautifully illustrated, 240-page not-for-profit book, written in English, celebrates the greatest female drivers—across rally, Formula 1, and beyond—who have competed in Monaco since 1925. Featuring 65 inspiring stories of women, written by women, it offers a captivating journey through glamour, adventure, and triumph in a male-dominated sport. The book also includes a groundbreaking chapter on the women of Monaco and their roles in motorsport, along with a glimpse into the future generation of female racers.
MyCrown Collection is proud to sponsor this special edition, reinforcing its commitment to empowering women to pursue their dreams with skill and determination.
A portion of book sales will support programs that nurture the next generation of female talent in motorsport. Order your copy online with free delivery in Monaco.
